Behind the rear Nikon screen there is a little haze that has built up and is only visible when the screen is OFF – this is NOT on the LCD, but on the fixed plastic screen that covers the LCD. It does not affect operation in any way and is a common happening apparently! The fix, if it bothered you, is to remove the rear LCD cover and wipe it off the inside. I have left it as it simply has no impact on operation or images. Shutter count is approx. 40’000, so absolutely loads of life left in it.
