Player works and reads games perfectly..in really clean shape actually for age. Sound is clean! screen flickers while adjusting contrast and has lines sometimes ( see pics ) can still play games if that doesn't bother you:) maybe you have the special tool to take this apart and from what I read it's a pretty simple fix and is a common issue with these old gameboys. Screen is scratch free and console was always kept in a case so unsure why it even has that issue tbh. All games tested and working perfectly as well, A couple will only work on a Gameboy color though
