These bisque dolls were made in Japan between 1915 (Taisho 4) and 1921 (Taisho 10) and then shipped overseas. It seems it was difficult to achieve a brown skin tone at the time, so these are two dolls with added paint. As shown in the photos, there are chips, scratches, scuffs, and paint loss. They are jointed dolls.
These are a rare type of doll.
Sizes: Approximately 10cm and 12cm.
They will be sold as is.
