I used a single undergarment for the lining of a long haori, and made a two-piece undergarment with the remaining undergarment fabric.
I wore it quite a bit.
I stopped using it and after a professional cleaning, I put it away.

There is some minor yellowing (small brown spots) on the exhibition part, overall.
It has been washed, so there is no problem with wearing it, and it is basically not visible when wearing a kimono.
