In May 1980, "Pac-Man" was first location tested as an arcade game for commercial use. In June of the same year, the game screen of Pac-Man suddenly appeared on the large vision of the Shinjuku Alta Building in Tokyo, and the people who gathered to watch the video were in an uproar.
The simple "dot-eating action" rules that anyone can understand, the cute character with its mouth opening and closing, and the colorful design captivated many people, creating a Pac-Man craze in Japan and around the world (especially North America).
Since then, it has produced numerous masterpiece variations such as "Super Pac-Man", "Pac-Land", "Pac-Man World", and "Pac-N-Roll", and in 2020, it celebrated its 40th anniversary.
