Designed for the Dolphin Automotive range such as the DPS400, DMS400 and DFM400 kits nut also compatible with other reverse parking sensor kits using the same 2 pin connectors. Sometimes due to the layout of the rear of your car or engine bay on the front a traditional parking sensor kit might not have enough cable length for you to locate the control box where needed, particularly when it is on one side of the vehicle and the routing to the far side is awkward. So it maybe that you only need to use two of the four extensions in some instances but 4 are provided for convenience. When using these extension leads we suggest it is good practice to waterproof the connecting joints with some insulation tape or similar to prevent any water or moisture ingress. Also do not run any cabling besides any high powered electrical systems such as a car battery and avoid trying up any spare cabling in a tight ball as this can cause interference. Spare cabling is based taped together in long straight lines.
