A partial set of 12 antique dishes from Homer Laughlin for the Household Institute in the elegant, floral “Priscilla” pattern, smooth-edged variant. Eggshell Nautilus J44N5. Could be great for a beginner collector or someone looking to expand. These would be perfect for the “CottageCore” fans among you. These dishes are in good shape, though not mint condition. The set contains:
-5, 8” salad plates. Much of the gold edging has rubbed off of these. Some pattern fading (see pictures). Small repair on back of one plate. Typical “pitting” of back glaze for pieces of this age.
-3, 9” luncheon plates. Pattern is vibrant but significant loss of gold. Typical “pitting” of finish on back of some plates.
-3, 9” rimmed soup bowls. The gold edging is well-preserved on these. Some minimal glazing flaws on backs.
-1 sugar bowl. Gold in excellent condition. No flaws of any kind. The “Household Institute” stamp is placed directly over the Laughlin stamp on the bottom.
