Made with an ultra durable machined aluminium ring the PhotoRepublik Variable ND filter can reduce between 1 to 11 stops of light.
ND filters reduce the amount of light reaching the lens to help increase exposure time, without affecting colour rendition. ND filters are usually used to slow down shutter speed in video mode to prevent rolling shutter. In still photography it is used to allow greater expression of movement than the cameras settings can normally capture, especially in bright conditions.
