This is a HTF Handmade red ware or stoneware thumb jug!!!!
This great primitive piece has Sadie Hawkins Day, Fort Eustis Oct 2, 1948 scratched int the front
Very nicely done and clean clear words. The jug stands 6.5" tall and is 4.75" in diameter at the base
There are no noted cracks or repairs however there are chips to the glazed finish (see photos)
The back of the jug is a darker brown than the front of the jug.
