LDA5 5" Dolby Atmos® Speakers
Using upward-firing drivers, the LDA5 Dolby Atmos-enabled speaker bounces sound off the ceiling, adding incredible envelopment and excitement to Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive soundtracks. It fits perfectly atop the Protege Cabinet Series LFS6 tower speaker and LB62 bookshelf speaker, and works with any AV receiver that has Dolby Atmos/DTS:X capability.

The LDA5 literally lifts you into new dimensions of surround sound. Its drivers fire up to bounce sound effects off the ceiling, and a Dolby-designed filter intensifies the effect. Place LDA5s atop the front left and right speakers, and for an even more powerful effect, put two more LDA5s atop the rear surround speakers. Then prepare for the most realistic, exciting ... even frightening ... movie experience you've ever had!
We built the LDA5 the same way as our other Protege Cabinet Series speakers, with a graphite composite cone woofer and a sweet-sounding silk dome tweeter. It's the same width and depth as our LFS6 and LB62 bookshelf speakers, so it looks like part of the speaker when you put it on top. It works great with other tower or bookshelf speakers, too.
