PRYME® Gateway Cable for Android Phone to 2-Way Radios; Fits: Kenwood VOX Capable Radios(LNK-01-ZU)

PRYME LINK PoC/MCPTT Gateway cable for Kenwood 2-pin Radios. Connects Two-Way radios with Cellphones and Tablets to provide gateway between radio system and PoC system. This simple cable assembly plugs into most Kenwood and Kenwood compatible Two-way radios and an Android phone (or tablet) to create a link between the radio system and the ZELLO PTT App. Its pretty easy to set up and use but the radio MUST be set up for VOX Operation! Not all Kenwood and Kenwood compatible two-way radios are capable (or programmed) for VOX so make sure this is possible before purchasing our LNK cable. Fits many imported radios that use Kenwood compatible 2-pin connector including Baofeng, Linton, Puxing, Kirisun and Wouxun. Its pretty easy to set up and use but the radio MUST be set up for VOX Operation! Not all two-way radios are capable (or programmed) for VOX so make sure this is possible before purchasing our LNK cable.

• Turn the radio off and plug in the LNK Gateway cable. Then plug the other end of the cable into any Android device that has a 3.5mm, 4 conductor jack
• Turn on the radio and make sure it is set on a channel with VOX programmed and enabled
• Still in ZELLO App, navigate to the Contact or Channel list and choose the one you want for Gateway operation. Make sure "VOX" icon is highlighted in blue
• If done correctly you should be ready to use. Calls received on the Two-way radio will be broadcast on the ZELLO App. Calls received on the Android device will be broadcast on the two-way radio. You may have to adjust the phone and radio volumes for best audio quality
• Mobile Radio & Cell Phone are NOT included!
