Today marks the end of the quarter, with UPS having come and gone, finalizing our first quarter sales. Last year's first quarter was exceptionally strong, with three new RPG books and the release of , which proved to be a significant success. This year, however, due to staff transitions, we had only one new release. I was certain we'd fall short of last year's numbers, but remarkably, we managed a 1.9% increase in gross revenues. Considering we lost half our staff and the only new release was a late card game, this is quite astonishing. Even more surprising is that we surpassed the fourth quarter of 2004 by 12.4%. Typically, the first quarter is our weakest season. The primary reasons for this year's performance are the dwindling transparent card inventory and the enduring strength of our stable of evergreen titles and RPG books.
