Just the thing to cozy up with on a cool night ! This listing is for a handmade rag quilt , . Reversible to a white and pink/green floral flannel fabric . It is 63'' by 67'', with 3 different layers of fabric strips sewn together, with open seams , quilted the length of, and then all open seams hand cut to produce the 'ragging' effect. It has been washed/dried once to start the beautiful 'ragging process, which will get better and better with each washing.
Usually cotton/polyester on top layer, and flannel on middle and back layer. A full size quilt requires approximately 18 yards of fabric. The open seams on these quilts allow for cutting by hand into fringes, which then produces the beautiful 'ragging'. There may be some 'puckering' of fabric here/there, some uneven stitches, no quilt is perfect.... this only makes YOUR quilt very unique and one of a kind !! A 'patch' of fabric is sewn on each to signify that it is indeed an original PACTHED RAGZ throw/quilt.
