Rare Vintage Hotwheels Blackwalls VHTF
Hot Wheels Cab Cruncher from the "Crack-Ups" toy line.
The "Crack-Ups" line was a series of Hot Wheels vehicles produced from 1985 to 1987 that featured a unique play mechanism.
Feature: These diecast cars had spring-loaded, revolving body panels designed to simulate crash damage upon impact.
Mechanism: When the car crashed, the panel would spin around to reveal a large, simulated dent or "crashed" side.
Repair: The damage could be instantly "repaired" by manually rotating the panel back to its original position.
Purpose: The appeal of the line was the ability to crash the cars and then quickly reset the damage to crash them again.
