First American edition set of Redwall (19th print) and Mossflower (13th print) by Brian Jacques (Philomel, 1987 & 1988). Increasingly scarce and collectible early hardcover copy of this set containing the first two novels in the young adult fantasy adventure series, Redwall. With illustrations.
Rubbing/scuffing to jacket faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creasing and small tears. Fore edge of Redwall dj has a few small scratches/tears. Boards straight and clean but with corners bumped. A few instances of mildly split binding, more notably to Redwall, but spines are fairly straight and bindings are strong. Some faint soiling to outer edges of text blocks, otherwise pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition. Packaged with care.
