Remington Quiet-Riter Typewriter w/ Original Case Serial # QR2594442
Typewriter has all the features of a full sized model including an 88 character standard keyboard, a miracle tab that set and cleared stops making indenting easier, a cylinder that allowed you to type closer towards the bottom of the frame, and a shock resistant Cycolac frame. The typewriter came in a hard case for easier portability.
The Quiet Riter is one of the last designed solely under the Remington brand. These typewriters are so iconic that they have one in The National Museum of American History. The typewriter is known for its solid construction and smooth curves. It's a full-size model with an 88 character standard keyboard. Less noisy than other typewriters of its time due to the large rounded cover over the type bars. A true classic used by writers such as William S. Burroughs and Herman Hesse.
