Roseville Blue Cosmos Double Handle Vase - USA C1939. Roseville art pottery out of Zanesville, OH continues to be highly collectible and prized over the years. The 'Cosmos' flower pattern was introduced in 1939 displaying embossed pink and white flowers with yellow centers, sprays of green leaves and flower buds. The blue body has raised wood-grain-like lines encircling the vase with two curved handles on opposite sides. The upper lip has an angular carved out edge adding to the art design. A stunning vase from the classic pottery company.
Preowned in very good vintage condition. Matte finishing with no visible crazing, cracks, chips or repairs nor any signs of use on the interior. Random scattered small bits of clay debris under glaze. Roseville marking USA 945-5" on bottom is clear and raised. Measures approx 5.25" H; 3.75" W at upper edge.
