There are additional embellishments of mosaic tiles and beads on this piece. Part of my artist series. I’ve been missing seeing art exhibitions during quarantine so I wanted to create and pour my heart into these. Pop art was all about elevating “low” art into “high”. Lichtenstein took the comics we read and throw away and put them on canvas-enlarged- and we saw them in a new light. I love connecting with people through Mercari. It has opened a window to be able to share my creations directly with you.
