Seiko 6309-7049 "Turtle" Vintage Automatic Watch

Classic Seiko TURTLE Diver's watch Circa 70's-80's. One of the longest production run watches in Seiko history for a reason. These watches were tough as nails TOOL watches beloved by Military Personnel and Civilians alike. Inside the legendary 6309 Auto movement. This was the last of the Seiko volume production mechs with NO plastic parts in it and is known to regulate to a higher standard than the later 7002 / 7S26 mechs. Can't reasonably fault this one. IMPORTANT: This watch has a GOOD crown tube with DEEP thread. Usually they are nearly spent and the crown tubes are not removable / replaceable on these cases. The case has the normal dings associated with 50 years use as a tool watch but Is highly presentable. The bezel insert IS original and has been lightly retouched by a professional to clean up some scratches. A great example. Can be offered with the flat vents strap also. This is NOT the typical online auction watch with a host of problems and aftermarket parts. 100% Serviced!!
