First time on CD. In the mid-70's, jazz saxophonist Tom Scott issued a few great jazz-fusion albums with his backup group L.A. Express. In 1976 the group split from Tom and issued two excellent albums on the Caribou label. Shadow Play features Peter Maunu on guitar, plus a guest appearance by Joni Mitchell (probably because they were her backup band during this period). Both albums feature keyboardist Victor Feldman.
