Beautiful vintage teacup and saucer by Shelley. The Dainty White pattern is the most popular Shelley pattern, and was made from 1896-1966. The blue and white design decorating the cup and saucer looks like the blue onion design used by many including by Meissen, which may be why this pattern is named Meissenette. There are even some blue flowers and a blue onion on the inside of the cup.
The green backstamp was used between 1925-1945, according to shelley.co.uk, and the Meissenette pattern number of 14260 is also there. No chips, cracks or crazing.
