We use healthy virgin recyclable copper never used before unlike bowls made in other parts of the world who use recycled used copper. The natural copper bowl is hand made by Egypt Artisans. Dimensions, finish and workmanship varies due to hand crafting. The pedicure bowl will look polished right out of the package. Copper oxidizes with time and reacts with many elements developing a unique patina over time. The best way to maintain and clean copper is by wiping the surface using regular soap and water and dry it using a soft rug. Waxing the copper will maintain the copper finish and luster for a period of time. The bowls have textured hammered raised dots and rounded at sides and placed on the bottoms for maximum therapy potential to cure aches and pains including: sore feet, bunions, plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia, tendonitis, twisted ankles, arthritic toes & joints and other foot and ankle ailments. Our bowls are decorative, functional, lightweight, strong and sturdy. The foot basin is handmade with high walls so it stays stable without rocking and wobbling. 6" high walls let you start with a few inches of hot water and then continue to add more and keep soaking for longer even as the water cools down.
