Signed revised edition (15th printing) hardcover copy The Holy Bible from Ancient Eastern Manuscripts by George M. Lamsa (A. J. Holman Company, 1967). Containing the Old & New Testaments translated from the Aramaic version of the Peshitta, the authorized Bible of the Church of the East, and the language Jesus spoke. Signed and inscribed by Lamsa on front endpaper.
Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creasing and small tears. Fading and some liquid damage to dj spine. Binding is firm and spine remains fairly straight though text block sags a bit at top of book. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. Top edge of first few pages have small tear/puncture. Previous owner’s ex-libris sticker on fep. Small bit of liquid damage to fep. Tanning pages with a few dog-eared corners.
