I personally received this postcard from famed Mountain Climber Rob Hall that he sent to me from Mt. Everest Base Camp in Nepal just before his tragic death on Mt. Everest in 1996, but I did not receive it until after hearing of his death. It was shocking to say the least to receive mail from someone I knew was dead. Could be one of his last ever signatures.
*The Book & Movie Into Thin Air was subsequently made about his life and tragic death.
