The terry surface is absorbent and comfortable without changing the feel of your mattress. The lightweight fabric is backed by a polyurethane membrane with microscopic pores. Air can pass through for a comfortable climate, but liquids and allergen cannot penetrate the membrane. Protector can be machine washed and dried.
