The unit was able to be powered on by inserting AA batteries into the external battery box.
FM and AM radio reception was good.
As expected from a Japanese-made Walkman of this era, the sound quality is high.
The dedicated headphones also have an LCD screen and functioned normally.
There was some crackling in the volume knob.
I tried inserting a cassette tape, but unfortunately, the tape player part did not work.
The external battery box is clean and shows no signs of battery leakage.
I think the rechargeable Ni-Cd batteries are probably unusable, but I will include them. Please let me know if you don't want them.
It has been used quite a bit, and the main unit has fine scratches, etc.
There is no peeling of the printed lettering.
I wiped the entire unit with alcohol and removed any dirt that could be removed, but I didn't wipe too hard to protect the printed lettering.
Please purchase after fully understanding the condition.
