'Stubby' Cobb Accessport V3 Vent Dock Mount for 2015+ Subaru WRXSTI, Black

This is a variation of our very popular Accessport Vent Mount that is sleeker and lower cost without sacrificing functionality. If you prefer the added support of the extended backing and magnet, we have another mount listed in our store, but in our testing it s not needed.Our product will keep your Accessport secure on your dash while maintaining the stock look and feel of the dash vent. With this mount, you will be able to comfortably see your Accessport as you drive along those windy roads. With your sunshade installed your Accessport will be out of plain sight for added safety and security. The ODB II cord is fed under the mount and is held in with a perfect mechanical fit. This kit does not require you to drill or cut anything in your vehicle and it will give you enough room to use the thick OEM Subaru sunshade or other sunshades. ️ Installation Steps, Carefully pry up defroster vent on the left side of the dash and remove. Feed Accessport cable from the OBD II connector and have it come out of the opening where the vent was. Feed Accessport cable through the mount and install included cable clamp over the end to secure the cable. Press cable clamp into mount to lock into position. This will be tight and you will want to push on both sides until the clamp sits slightly below flush when its full installed. Tilt mount to insert the left corner first and then wiggle it into place on the right side. Tighten the M3 bolts to secure mount. This doesnt need to be very tight, just enough that the mount wont move. Insert Accessport and enjoy.Note, If you would like to remove the mount ever, use caution not to full unscrew the bolts so that the nuts and bracket dont fall off . This mount will ONLY work for 2015 WRXSTI
