This is an Apim and a screen Apple Car play Android Audio from a 2018 explorer. This will fit other ford vehicles with sync 3 and the bigger screen. I bought this to upgrade my sync 2 in my 2016 explorer and it was a direct plug and play it’s already programmed and was updated to the most current software. This will come with the usb media hub that you will plug into a 2016 explorer not sure of other models. If you are replacing your sync 3 screen or APIM this doesn’t need the media hub replaced if you are upgrading your sync 2 to 3 you need the media hub this will give you Apple car play and Android Audio.
