Takara Transformers PS2 Game

he Transformers is a Japanese video game for the Sony PlayStation 2, based on the original Transformers series. Developed by Winkysoft and published by Atlus, it launched on October 30, 2003. Players choose a faction and lead a team of three Transformers through action-packed missions, recruiting additional characters along the way.

Although all of the game’s voice acting is in English and there is an option to display English text, it was never released in the United States. Nearly a year before launch, Takara announced they were in talks with a U.S. publisher, but three months prior to the Japanese release, they confirmed the game would remain exclusive to Japan.
