Svalbard Jacket
A mid-layer jacket named after the frigid island of Svalbard in the Arctic Ocean. Despite being an insulation jacket with 100g/m2 insulation, it weighs less than 600g. It is also packable, able to be stored in the inner map pocket at the waist (about the size of a pillow). Stretch fabric guards the back of the neck on the liner side to prevent gaps. Equipped with a Napoleon pocket on the left chest.
Windproof, water-repellent, and breathable, it is a highly reliable fabric.
CLIMASHIELD® APEX 100g/m2 synthetic fiber insulation is used for the filling. Although synthetic fiber insulation has some disadvantages compared to down, it is known to be resistant to getting wet and less likely to lose its heat retention properties. It is used in the US military's cold weather outerwear.
Furthermore, Tilak actually verified that it is less prone to flattening before adopting it.
