In September 2004, the "Original Tomica Postal Vehicle Collection" was released exclusively in Nagoya. In April 2005, the second edition, "Original Tomica Postal Vehicle Collection 2 (Nagoya City Limited Edition)," was released.
The first edition was a simple set with some changes to the specifications of the regular "Postal Vehicle Collection" gift set, but it was well-received. The second edition was an even more advanced and elaborate set.
