A very rare Trifari horseshoe brooch from the late 1950s
The brooch features an enameled version of a well-known Trifari 'lucky' horseshoe with only the pearls, the rarity of this one is the cobalt blue enameling and rhodium-plated silver sections accented by small clear rhinestones
A collection of Trifari inspired by the Horseshoe. Carrying it with us reminds us of the ancient beliefs that tell of the Goddess of Good Fortune: riding in the sky, she lost a horseshoe that falling to Earth made her magically become full of life and prosperous.
Condition: very, very good! The gold plating is in excellent condition, clean and shiny, The pin back is intact and functional.
The faux pearls have maintained an excellent nacre, the small crystals are all present and all sparkling, the enameled area has small flea bites where it is missing, very few noticeable to the naked eye but look closely at the enlarged photos to ascertain its condition.
