These pants are based on the concept of a commercial version manufactured and sold for civilians, recreating the US NAVY deck crew's pants.
The front curved pockets, attached with double stitching, are a simplified yet symbolic detail that contributes to the pants' design.

The soft feel of the original 10oz mill denim and the puckering seen in various stitch areas are also attractive features.

"Mil Denim"
10oz selvedge denim using indigo warp threads and brown weft threads, both made with size 10 yarn.
Based on the concept of military denim, the brown weft threads give it a characteristic eggplant-purple color.
Uneven yarn specially made at a spinning mill is used.
The weft threads are cotton nep yarn dyed brown for a rough texture.
