Two piece set of layout tools includes:
-- 6" Try Square, rosewood with brass/bronze detailing with a steel blade
-- 7" sliding T-bevel gauge, its rosewood with brass/bronze detailing and a steel blade. It has a patent date of Nov. 5, 1867. Made by Star Tool Co. of Middletown CT.
Probably late 1800's and made with rosewood and brass.
They are old and used with lots of character and patina. Please see pictures for all details.
