Really cool piece of Ukrainian memorabilia and/or surplus. I don’t think it’s military or army related but it’s pretty close.
As far as I understand it, this is the female version of a beret issued to members of the State Committee for the Light and Textile industry. This one still has the original tag still attached to it.
I believe the year says 1993, but you are welcome to do your own translations on the pictured tag.
Overall condition is fine. It’s a 30+ year old garment (I think wool) so set your expectations accordingly. There’s nothing wrong with it but it likes to attract lint/dust. It’s also not as rigid of a hat as you might expect. There’s some structure around the stitching but for the most part it behaves like a piece of cloth.
No rips, no tears, no stains, and no odors. Emblem is in great shape.
