When it comes to Green Tourmaline its hard to get much cooler than this; this gorgeous glowing green stone is from the Commander Mine in Tanzania. It comes from the very tip of an otherwise brown to yellow Dravite Tourmaline. The chromium content of these unique and highly sought after Tourmalines concentrates at the termination tip giving off the incredible alluring deep glowing green color that makes them world famous. Ive never seen these before as cut gems so when I saw them I had to pick them up. They are from a gem cutter in Tanzania who actually mined them himself. I have three or four of these left. This is the second largest one I have. Looks better in person.
