Beautiful and unique vintage Victorian Etruscan pendant necklace. This is such a unique piece! The overall shape is diamond with a shadowbox effect of filigree and flowers detailing. In the very center, it appears to be a cross in gold plating. It could also be the filigree design, as there are a few layers. It has scalloped, filigree frame with flowers and leaves peaking out in different areas. The metal is a mystery. Part tests as Sterling, but the back, for example, gives mixed results. I felt it deserved a sterling chain, so I put on an 18” sterling chain with a spring clasp. The pendant is not marked. The chain is stamped 925. It looks like it’s been around a long time and I hope someone will fall in love with it! L1
