This Vintage 1920’s Cabinet Scraper was hand made!
This Vintage, Owner made, cabinet scraper was part of an estate sale that I was lucky enough to attend. Farm estate sale was in 1994!
This cabinet scraper is made of dark Walnut with a Brass sole plate! Stunning contrast of Walnut color to pop of Brass!
Circa 1920’s
Engineered to resemble an EC Atkinson & Co. plane scraper, in design and functionality!
I’ve had on display for decades, but nobody to pass onto, so here we go!
I’ve seen many manufactured items like this, but not one in this condition and made by a local farmer/cabinet maker!
Back when you made so with what you had or you had to make what you needed to make do!
Solid, well made and believed to still be functional, as it’s been on a display shelf for the 30 years I’ve owned!
