This is an awesome piece of history from Wright Patterson Air Force Base Fire Department!! Their Fire Chief informed me that this great vintage fire blanket was discovered, stored away in a building on the base and that it is believed to be from the 1940’s or 1950’s.
It is all original and is in good vintage condition!! The metal box has some surface rust, which is expected in an item of its age.
