This vintage Avon ceramic lidded beer stein is made by Ceramarte in Brazil in 1982. The stein measures approximately 7 1/2" in height to the top of the lid and 8 1/4" to the top of the thumb lift. It measures 3 3/4" at the base.
The stein has a raised relief going around showing several famous railroad engines, including the 1804 Penydarcan, the 1855 General, the 1925 Orient Express, the 1938 Twentieth Century, 1941 Union Pacific, and the 1941 Union Pacific. The top of the stein looks like an old railroad wheel.
No chipping or cracking but there is a mark on the lid as seen in the pictures. A nice addition to your collection of steins whether for use or display.
