Often referred to as an Aladdin teapot, what this resembles more than anything is a racing bee skep. The piece appears to be made of stacked layers, very reminiscent of a beehive. But the aerodynamic, long, low form, and the way the piece leans forward gives an impression of speed and motion. A feeling only enhanced by the arc of the handle, the line it creates echoing the form of the teapot and giving the impression that it is billowing out behind as the piece hurtles forward through space. The spout stretches out before the teapot, its slightly pointed tip seeming to cleave the air, pretty soon the entire thing will be flying.

The teapot has no cracks, chips, or repairs. It does have crazing. It appears to have glaze skips & pops from manufacturing, and you can see the mold line on the top. It is NOT a crack. There is small residue on the inside
