This is an off the grid type coffee maker. Perfect for camping or rendezvous. This one was my mother's coffee pot for our camper stove. I can still smell the Safari coffee brewing.
Bottom stamped "Comet The Popular Aluminum, made in U. S. A."
I used it once or twice during power outages.
Note: keep the heat source within the range of the bottom of the pot. This helps to keep you from melting the handle over time.
