Vintage 1940s likely made for WWII, a stunning Croton Aquamatic all stainless steel screwed back waterproof type case driven by a clean Croton model A3SY, 800 Caliber bumper automatic, featuring a stunning two tone copper military type dial. Lume is out on one of the hours hand. This is a very rare watch and has some defects on the case and band as seen in pictures. It seems there are welding beads marked over a few spots on the case and band. The watch is currently running but has not been assessed for accuracy. Sold as is.
MOVEMENT: Clean, Croton model A3SY, CAL 800 bumper automatic. Movement is clean and runs well.
CASE: Clean, round, screwed back waterproof type case measures 28.16 mm across without crown, 34.2 mm lug tip to tip, and 16 mm between lugs. Case back interior is signed x2. Crystal is in excellent shape.
DIAL: Fantastic two tone copper military type dial features luminescent Arabic numbers, white outer calibrated minute/seconds track, stunning luminescent hands.
