This hand painted deviled egg plate is from the 1950’s and was made in Japan. This piece is in excellent vintage condition. There are a couple tiny flea bites in the edge of the painted area where the chicks sits. ( see the last picture) . for being nearly 75 years old this item is in great condition. This is a very unique piece with the mother hen holding her two chicks close.The plate holds 12 eggs and is 9 1/4 inches wide
