Authentic vintage Fleischmann 17/6 live steam engine made in Germany, likely from the 1950s–60s. Features a horizontal brass boiler, red flywheel, and a single-cylinder oscillating engine mounted on its original green enamel base. This collectible piece is ideal for display. Stamped “17/6” on the underside.
Size: Base- 9.25x10” Approx. height with all components is 6.5”
Good/Fair Condition - Not Tested- there is rust present on the boiler and green base. The base seems to be slightly warped causing the boiler not to sit in its spot properly. Boiler is missing some pieces and the cylinder is not fully connected to the brick base. Engine appears to be in good condition. Please review pictures carefully - I am not super knowledgeable on this item and may not realize something is missing. Sold as is.
Sold as-is; untested. A great addition for collectors of vintage toy steam engines or German tinplate models.
