Vintage-flour sack quilt Grandmas Garden pattern- large

This is a very large handmade quilt from the 1940's...it has 56 hand appliqued flowers and measures 75 by 100...this quilt was a labor of love..all hand stitched....I stabilized and then re-edged it in a decorative stitch and machine appliqued to fix several of the squares ..I did also repair a couple of small tears... And replaced three of the flowers that had worn out ...I did an oxy soak to brighten it up .with an air dry in the fresh Midwest air..it does have a few faint stains left..and also some yellowing that did not come out...that said it's a lovely vintage quilt suitable for use or display! The quilt is Grandmother's Garden pattern... Fyi this was not a complete restoration but more like an extensive repair...this one won't be around long!!!
