Vintage 9 1/4” nutcracker in a green Bavarian design.
This piece features intricate details such as a beer stein and pretzel.
Wonderful vibrant colors and textures to this nutcracker!
It is still wired to the cardboard from inside the box. I did not remove it from that.
I don’t know if the original owner did, but it does not appear that way. I found it at an estate sale.
There are several things to note, please see all the photos before purchasing.
The feather on the hat appears to have broken off at one point as it has been glued.
There is a area of discoloration under the front of the hat, ?manufacturer’s flaw.
Very small spots of paint off on his front clothing and glue showing where his suspenders attach to his lederhosen.
There is a scratch on the front of his lederhosen that looks like a brown marker has been used to fill it.
Top of feet and base with some paint missing.
Box damage possibly from moisture
