RARE FIND! This listing is for a vintage Heide’s Marshmallows tin. Manufactured by Henry Heide, a German immigrant who founded a candy company in New York City in the 1860s. The paper label says, “Guaranteed by Henry Heide, N.Y. under the Food and Drugs Act, June 30, 1906. Serial No. 631”
Some of paper label is missing, and the tin has a few minor dents from age and wear. No visible rust. Measures 4.25” in diameter, 2.25” tall, weighs approx 6oz.
