Beautiful vintage Murano millefiori art glass paperweight featuring deep ruby overlay with star-cut facets and a large circular “window” cut revealing a floating bouquet of millefiori canes. The weight has excellent color clarity and beautifully executed hot-worked canes typical of mid-century Murano workshops such as Fratelli Toso or Vetreria Artistica.
This piece is unmarked, which is common for Murano export work from the 1960s–1980s. It displays wonderfully from all angles and feels substantial in hand.
