Vintage Dolls of the World Quilt, c1960s, measuring 58x71 inches. Consists of 20 blocks about 10x10 inches, set straight, 4 by 5, each with a doll in traditional costume of different countries. Sashing is in light blue, green and tan, with a blue border. It is machine pieced, hand appliqued, hand embroidered and hand quilted. There are several small details quilted in each of the cornerstones including letters, possibly initials, and numbers, possibly dates or ages. In very good overall condition. This quilt was part of Laura Fisher’s estate.
